Can You Plastidip Over Vinyl Wrap

I ve been removing the 10 year old cracked sun damaged vinyl wrap from my van for a few weeks and i m wondering if i can just plasti dip over it.

Tue jun 26 2012 2 54 pm i think it would take more than alchohol to prep vinyl for paint you shoud get some wax wash and cleaner from the auto paint store you would also have to scuff up vinyl real good with a 3 m red scuff pad it should stick. Get the look and feel of a powder coat with the flexibility of a vinyl wrap. Autoflex is not a vinyl wrap. Anyone have any experience using dip over vinyl.
